ampido - The parking app

With ampido you save yourself the annoying and time-consuming search for a parking space and can park in spaces that would not be available to you without ampido. You can park in parking spaces of supermarkets, offices, hotels, residential properties or vacant lots in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Stuttgart and many other German cities.

In 2013-2014 Digital Spaces Living Lab (DSLL) tested for Ampido the automatic identification of potential parking spaces using some of Imagga’s advanced scene/object recognition algorithms to learn how to detect/recognize (potential) parking spaces from street photos and videos. Imagga (https://imagga.com/) is a technology company focused on visual image search and exploration, image categorization, as well as large scale image processing and analysis in the cloud.
